Service Description

Intricately decorated Ukrainian Easter eggs are made using an ancient wax-resist method. The are "written" on the eggs with melted beeswax, which protects the underlying layers from dye. This process is repeated with different colors to build up a multi-layered, symbolic design. You will create your own egg . All materials will be provided, but if you want your own kit, they will be available to purchase separately at class.
